I have finished re-writing my book so I am back writing my blog. I know this will be considered a bad day for many of those education haters. Of course I am referring to those individuals that want to continue to socialize our youth rather than educate them in the manner that America’s education system intended.
There should be one or two posts each week dealing with our education system and if there is something drastic taking place there could be more.
The reason I have re-written my book was two-fold:
- First was the publisher; I was unfamiliar with this process and felt they were not totally candid with me. This time around I will take a different approach.
- Second was the name; although “Teachers… It Ain’t Your Fault” may have been a catchy name; I believe many people thought it was a book for teachers not about teachers.
The new name of the book will be:
“Public Schools – The Worst Case of Child Abuse in American History.”
The re-write includes the abuse, harassment and humiliation I had to endure over the last four or five years as well as updating several of the more recent events of those in power. It of course names even more names of those whose desire it is to turn America into a socialist society and more.
I am currently in the process of locating a book agent to find a publisher and promote the book. When this happens I am confident the book will take off like a rocket and really make a significant impact on our education system.
I would like to read your book.

Posted by Jim Blockey | February 18, 2012, 4:07 pmJim, as I remember, you and many of us are on the same page on some important issues, especially the educational reforms of the last ten years. These are reforms pushed from the right and left. Standardized testing, Common Core Standards, the misuse or data, dumbing down of curricula, blaming teachers. These have been bipartisan, and the fix has to be nonpartisan.
I just think we lose support when we use loaded words, like Occupy DOE and “socialize children”. We have a petition to dump Arene Duncan for implementing policies of Bush which originated to a large extent with Bill Bennett and are now supported bt large corporate donors.

Posted by Peter Smyth | February 18, 2012, 7:43 amI don’t totally disagree with you, however I think we lose reality when we do not use some of those loaded words. Trying to sugar coat what is happening may actually lull individuals into a false sense of believing things are not as bad as they really are. We will never lose the support of those who are truly knowledgeable about what is taking place, those who are unknowledgeable MUST be made aware of the critical state America is now in. The time for Political Correctness has long passed and the time for Plain Correctness has arrived.
