Bad Economy – It must be the Teachers, Firemen and Police Officers

When the economy takes a turn downward it appears that government employees, particularly the teachers, fireman and police officers get thrown under the bus.  I recognize this is not the PC fixation I should articulate; nevertheless do you realize how much the illegal immigration phenomenon is raping the American public.

I heard this account from a California high school teacher in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at her school designated a Title 1 school.  This form of school denotes that the student populace averages lower socioeconomic and income levels.  Here is her narrative.

Nine hundred teachers were recently laid off from the Los Angeles unified School District for budget issues.   As you listen to the news regarding the student demonstrations pertaining to illegal immigration, there are certain details you ought to be discerning of:  I was directed to squander $700,000 on my department or endanger losing financial support for the forthcoming year albeit there was a diminutive need for anything; my budget was already substantial.

The majority of the schools you are hearing about, where students are demonstrating are also Title 1 schools.   These schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program.  When I articulate free breakfast, I am not referring to a glass of milk and roll — on the contrary I am referring to a full breakfast, a cereal bar and fruits and juices that would render the Marriott content.

The misuse of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of unconsumed food being discarded in the refuse.  I estimate that in excess of 50% of these students moderately overweight if not obese.    Naturally, greater than 75% DO have cell phones since cell phones are a great deal more important than food.

I have been forced to intervene several times for new and substitute teachers whose classes consisted of numerous illegal immigrant students.   These illegal’s who have been in America less than three months instigated so much misery with the female teachers by calling them “Putas” (whores ) and throwing objects, that these teachers were in tears.

This is what transpires when one is given something.  When you comprise a vested interest in something you are less probable to squander it away.  However, it also has a to do with culture:  A third-world culture that countless people do not value education; that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by age 15; that refuses to assimilate; and an American culture that has developed into a weak and politically correct society that does nothing to rectify it.

Cheap labor is the motive for the immigration problem or so we are led to accept as true.    Our government ascertained that Americans do not want those jobs and deceived us into believing it was so.  The phrase “cheap labor” is a myth, a farce, and a lie. There is no such thing as “cheap labor.”  For example, if an illegal takes a job for $5.00 or 6.00/hour, he pays no income tax.  However, at the end of the year he gets an “earned income credit” of up to $3,200 free.

Here are other various benefits illegal’s obtain when they slither across the border late at night that emerge from the pockets of legal American’s.

    • He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.
    • He qualifies for food stamps.
    • He qualifies for free (no deductible), (no co-pay) health care.
    • His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.
    • He requires bilingual teachers and cooks.
    • He qualifies for relief from high energy bills…
    • If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI.
    • Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at (our) taxpayer’s expense.
    • He doesn’t worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.
    • Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material.
    • He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.
    • Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after paying their bills AND his.
    • The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up.

I would like to reveal that this teacher that was NOT laid off, does not have an axe to grind, has nothing to gain, but a lot to lose by expressing the truth of what is happening in America today.  However, the simple truth is we do not have to lower wages or benefits to teachers, firemen or police officers, although we do need to enforce our laws.

I am a tiny bit confused, since when do we get to pick and choose which laws to enforce?  Illegal immigration is nothing short of thievery.  They embezzle money from legal AMERICAN’s.

Yes, what numerous citizens of Mexico have to endure is appalling, but it is no more appalling than what is taking place in many parts of India, Africa or many other parts of the world.  We do not have the ability to feed the world; although we DID have ways of helping, unfortunately the illegals have detached that possibility out of the equation, because of the money they are pilfering from America’s legal citizens.

We have even gone as far as educating our people to believe that if we speak as this California teacher did we are hate-filled racists.  Whereas, the reality is we must teach American’s the accurate connotation of our immigration system:  There is a legal process, intended for all, from any culture on the predication that they would assimilate to American culture, not bring their culture to take precedence.

When you perform your duties legally and most of all morally you will soon find that many of the problems that existed no longer exist.

  1. How do I apply for all those free benefits? Oh, I was born to hard working middle class AMERICANS who obeyed the laws, paid their taxes, spoke the language of the land and worked for their income. Sadly, my parents’ legacy was to pass those characteristics on to me. I guess that means I don’t qualify.
